The open hoop of the bracelet has a circular section, and is made of gold sheet with a filling of glass or glass paste. The hoop originally consisted of four sections (one of the central sections is missing) and the joins were covered with a ribbed band of sheet. Each end of the hoop is capped by a plain disk with a ribbed flange, to which is attached a wire ring. The bracelet was secured by means of a doubled chain of multiple loop-in-loop construction, with a loop at one end and a plain hemispherical toggle at the other.
